Annual Performance Reports

TasWater is required to prepare and submit an annual performance report by 30 September each year, in accordance with the Regulator's Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Industry Performance and Information Reporting Guideline. Data from the annual performance report is included in the Regulator's State of the Industry Report. 

​​​​Annual Performance Report 2023-24                                                                                                                                      TasWater provided its Annual Performance Report 2023-24 on 30 September 2024.                                                              
The Regulator has published the Report, despite being unable to resolve with TasWater an issue regarding TasWater's reporting of its customer satisfaction score. 

Under the methodology proposed by TasWater in its Price and Service Plan for the fourth regulatory period and approved by the Regulator, customer satisfaction has been measured at 60.9 per cent in 2022-23 and 56.6 per cent in 2023-24, compared to performance targets of 70.0 per cent and 72.0 per cent respectively. 

In the Report, TasWater has modified its customer satisfaction scores on pages 6 and 26 to approximate scores that may have been achieved under the methodology that TasWater applied prior to 2022-23. The Regulator has not endorsed TasWater's departure from the approved methodology.
