All submissions will be read by OTTER's staff who are working on the project or inquiry that you are commenting on. It is the Regulator's policy to publish all written submissions related to a public project or inquiry on the OTTER website, including your name.
The Tasmanian Economic Regulator will not publish submissions which contain material that the Regulator believes is or could be derogatory or defamatory.
Submissions are published on the internet to provide transparency in the decision-making process. If your submission is published, the information in it, including your name, may be found through an internet search. Submissions cannot be withdrawn once they have been published.
Submissions may include a request for it be treated as confidential, in whole or in part. The material for which a request of confidentiality is made should be clearly identified.
Preparing a submission
Submissions must be made in writing and relate to the project or inquiry that the Regulator is consulting on. It is recommended that your submission is concise and emphasises key points, issues and potential solutions that the Regulator should consider.
